Manah 1 and Manah 2 Solar Power Plants

Manah 1 and Manah 2 solar power plants are one of the strategic projects that support the Sultanate of Oman’s efforts to expand the use of renewable energy sources and promote the sustainability of the energy sector. The two plants are located in the Wilayat of Manah in A’Dakhiliyah Governorate, where they utilise solar energy technologies to generate electricity and supply the national grid with clean energy. The project contributes to increasing the share of renewable energy in the national energy mix, and reducing reliance on conventional energy sources, thereby promoting the efficient use of natural resources. The project also supports national efforts to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy security, whilst contributing to the achievement of environmental sustainability targets and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
